Broadcast Testimonials
Testimonials are some of Chime’s hardest-working assets, and this campaign was all about taking them to the next level. I worked with the Chime team to shoot over six testimonial spots featuring real members sharing why they love Chime.
My role focused on elevating the art direction through color, lighting, and set design — bringing a more thoughtful, modern feel to the series. We also tested a simplified studio, moving away from the traditional “living room” setup. The new approach put the spotlight entirely on the people — their stories, personalities, and energy — and wrapped up with a sense of community as multiple real members came together in the final scenes.
The results speak for themselves: the spots featuring Matt are among Chime’s top-performing broadcast ads to date.
Chime Guides
This project was born from research showing that people were actively searching online for answers about Chime, but most of the content they found was seriously outdated. We wanted to change that by creating something fresh, personal, and social, while still being educational.
The series teaches people how to make the most of Chime in a way that feels approachable and modern. It was a big shift from their previous all-animated content. We brought in real Chime members to bring that human energy and a warmer design approach to the forefront. We also created shorter, snappier versions designed specifically for Instagram and YouTube Shorts, extending the reach and engagement across platforms.
I was deeply involved from start to finish. I helped shape the concept, lead the art direction, and design the overall look and feel, while also overseeing animation and edit in partnership with an external studio.
